What Is Indian Pickle?
Indian pickles are a popular condiment in Indian cuisine. Mainly pickles from the north of India are typically made with mustard oil, while pickles from the South of India are made with sesame oil. Pickles or “Achaar” as they are known in India adds a tangy, sweet or spicy heat, when served on its own as a side dish. Most commonly eaten alongside paratha or chapatis.
Our Shayona pickles are made with mustard oil and have a wide range of pickle flavours without the use of onions or garlic, which is suitable for the sattvic vaishnav diet.
